Physiotherapy

The pregnancy and postpartum period can be an exciting, but also challenging time.  Everyone begins their journey from a different point, with different experiences and different expectations not just mentally but physically too.

The changes that your body and mind goes through from conception to birth is extraordinary and although it is a natural and amazing process it can leave us feeling a bit lost and with a body that no longer functions in the way we would like it to.  Often we are so concerned about looking after our baby that we forget to look after ourselves, but prioritising yourself and your health should also be a priority. Low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, abdominal separation and incontinence are all common during pregnancy and/ or postnatally but they are not normal and are treatable.
